Arsenal home Sunday 15th April - PozinBootz - 10-04-2018 Just booked our taxi for 10.30 that's me Scoot and 3 other renegades. Lovely to watch a game with no pressure at long last accompanied by a pre and post match piss-up in toon. Meeting in The Dog and Parrot (pink triangle) and again at Aspers Casino afterwards. Onto the game then - win would be good but I enjoy seeing Arsene wound up so some dodgy decisions against Arsenal would be good or even settle for a 4-4 draw again but hopefully not 0-4 at half time RE: Arsenal home Sunday 15th April - surreymag - 10-04-2018 I know plenty of Arsenal fans they are always moaning. They are 6th and more or less guaranteed a place in the semi- final of The Europa Cup.I would be quite happy if that was us in that position. As for the game I think we have a chance to beat them as long as we disrupt their passing game and put pressure on them. Their defence is not that solid but they are still good going forward. I would love a win but will predict a 2-2 draw. RE: Arsenal home Sunday 15th April - Scrivenator - 10-04-2018 I don't want to appear negative after out recent stalwart performances, but I can't see us getting owt from the Arse. Agree with Scriv albeit a point would be a nice way to open another bottle of JD just because I need to. RE: Arsenal home Sunday 15th April - veriaqa - 11-04-2018 Will be happy with a draw, but unfortunately I can't see it. We will lose by two or more goals. We already have 38 points, so I hope it won't jeopardies our chance of survival. RE: Arsenal home Sunday 15th April - Little TT - 11-04-2018 A point and results going for us would be near perfect RE: Arsenal home Sunday 15th April - PozinBootz - 11-04-2018 Are you coming for a pint lil TT? Give Scoot a bell m8 RE: Arsenal home Sunday 15th April - sossujrurl - 12-04-2018 It's a hard one to call this. The Arse have a fair distance to travel tonight and may be a wee bit jaded. They have some quality throughout their squad though. As most of the pressure is off us they will be the more nervous of the teams and are more than capable of defensive calamities. However our strike force struggles with bovine posterior percussion, especially when stringed folk instruments are involved. We might nick a point. Somehow. RE: Arsenal home Sunday 15th April - sossujrurl - 15-04-2018 That was a little bit enjoyable RE: Arsenal home Sunday 15th April - surreymag - 15-04-2018 (15-04-2018, 02:23 PM)sossujrurl Wrote: That was a little bit enjoyable Just a bit fucking get in! RE: Arsenal home Sunday 15th April - Scrivenator - 15-04-2018 Cracking cracking result. I never expected us to get owt, let alone a win and was delighted to have been proven wrong. We have become very consistent lately and the whole team is performing as an effective unit. Hard to single any particular performance out but Mo Diame is a beast and gets MOM for me. RE: Arsenal home Sunday 15th April - exenrique - 15-04-2018 Boy Perez has really stepped up,cracking goal and looks made for the number 10 role RE: Arsenal home Sunday 15th April - Scrivenator - 15-04-2018 I liked the impact fat boy slim had when he came on anarl. Provided a different option and looks a perfect fit for the squad. Him and horsepoo look like they have it between them to mix up defenders RE: Arsenal home Sunday 15th April - sossujrurl - 15-04-2018 He caused a bit of concern for their rearguard like. Perez is showing more than just glimpses of what he can do now. He is indeed a good number 10, especially with Diame and Shelvey owning the space behind. I think a lot of the players will be disappointed when the season ends. RE: Arsenal home Sunday 15th April - veriaqa - 15-04-2018 Well that is new. A win againts Arsenal with good performance. RE: Arsenal home Sunday 15th April - sossujrurl - 16-04-2018 I'm liking this concept of playing until the final whistle instead of switching off at 80 minutes expecting to cruise to victory or giving up chasing a lead. We've beaten Man Utd and Arsenal at home and drawn with Liverpool. We're all but safe, barring some ludicrous and outlandish results in the final few games. The pressure is off and each game will be like a party atmosphere for the fans, and the players should relish it. RE: Arsenal home Sunday 15th April - Earl Bentwilly - 16-04-2018 Fantastic result that - just what was needed no matter how poor Arsenal were. Got pissed in London and didnt make it home till last this morning |
