  Arsenal home Sunday 15th April

Just booked our taxi for 10.30 that's me Scoot and 3 other renegades.

Lovely to watch a game with no pressure at long last accompanied by a pre and post match piss-up in toon.
Meeting in The Dog and Parrot (pink triangle) and again at Aspers Casino afterwards.

Onto the game then - win would be good but I enjoy seeing Arsene wound up so some dodgy decisions against Arsenal would be good or even settle for a 4-4 draw again but hopefully not 0-4 at half time Tongue

  Back on or Sunday bullshit?

Some promising noises have emerged on the takeover front from the Mirror on Saturday night, with claims that a deal between Amanda Staveley and Mike Ashley is back on – with PCP now ‘confident’ of securing a deal after ‘constructive talks’ in recent weeks.

The story is an exclusive from the Mirror, with John Richardson stating that a deal between Staveley and Ashley has now been resurrected.

“Newcastle’s takeover by financier Amanda Staveley’s Middle-East backed PCP partners group is back on.
“Sunday Mirror Sport can reveal there have been constructive talks between Newcastle United owner Mike Ashley’s representatives and Staveley over the past few weeks.
“He believed there were too many clauses inserted in the PCP offer including one which would have seen Ashley miss out on a £100 million instalment if Newcastle were relegated.
“But now with Premier League security looking more and more likely PCP are ready to increase their offer and move closer to Ashley’s valuation of the club he bought 11 years ago.
“It’s understood that PCP’s confidence in securing a deal in the region of £300 million has led to them making plans to improve the club’s training ground.”
“Staveley’s group are committed to backing Benitez with a substantial transfer war chest if they wrest control of St. James’ Park and will immediately reward him with a new lengthy contract.”

Not everyone’s cuppa but in a sport I watch will be missed as he helped dragging arraz up to the global stage. I for one enjoy a game of darts and will miss the cockeny cunt...RIP Eric.

Real test this one as we do not cope easily with pace.
Think Rafa will set us out for the draw and play them on the break.
Slimani full debut would have been good but of course he can't open the batting against them.

Hate them clappy things they use - almost as childish an idea as most of Scrivs Blush

  Sanctions against LFC?
Posted by: surreymag - 05-04-2018, 03:42 PM - Forum: General football - Replies (9)

The attack on the Man City bus was disgraceful last night. I know it’s only a minority of fans and nothing to do with players etc. I do feel that some kind of punishment needs to be put in place other than just a fine. I would make them play their next 2/3 European games at home behind closed doors or ban them from playing in Europe next season. What are the thoughts of others?
